Artist Bio

Adonis Archontides (b.1991) is a multidisciplinary artist from Cyprus. He studied Illustration & Visual Media at UAL. His works are sometimes satirical and often introspec – tive; they consist of investigations into the production of identity consciously or subconsciously, and shift in the space between reality, fiction, simulation and dream.

He has had solo shows at NiMAC (Sensing is believing, believing is seeing, 2022) and Test Drive (Emotional Sculptures, 2019), Nicosia; Seventeen (New Year, New You, 2019 under David Raymond Conroy’s Retail Space project), London, on his personal account on Instagram (#instagramresidency, 2018) and in his dreams (Frozen Waterfall Dream 30/07/22, 2022). He has also participated in group shows (amongst others) at Phenomenon (as part of The Island Club) on Anafi; The Wrong Biennale, online; and K-Gold Tempo – rary Gallery in Lesvos. His films have been screened (amongst others) on The One Minutes online and at the 2021 Milan Machinima Festival.
