Bravo Bravo Editions began with the aim of bringing contemporary art closer to everyday life. Being part of a dynamic art community, we have been witnessing a wide spectrum of contemporary artistic practices that drive the art of today. Meanwhile, we are surrounded by people looking for an uncomplicated, accessible and affordable way to bring contemporary art into their lives. Our mission is to connect the two.
Bravo Bravo Editions is led by a team of three directors - curator Thalia Spyridou, artist Leontios Toumpouris, and architect Michael Pavlides. After years of friendship, they came together to form Bravo Bravo Editions in 2020.
Thalia Spyridou / Programme Director
Thalia Spyridou is a curator based between Nicosia and Glasgow. She has worked in public and commercial galleries for over 8 years, gaining extensive knowledge of the art market. Her experience lies in identifying and developing opportunities for artists, building international partnerships with organisations and curating exhibitions and events.
Michael Pavlides / Operations Director
Michael Pavlides is an architect based between Nicosia and Athens. He has worked for over 11 years, applying his project management and public relations skills in both architecture and corporate client management environments. He often collaborates with artists for the production of exhibitions in Cyprus and the UK.
Leontios Toumpouris / Artistic Director
Leontios Toumpouris is an artist based in Nicosia. He has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions since 2009, participated in artist residencies and workshops and received grants and awards from international organisations. He works predominantly with sculpture and installation. He often engages with institutions and the public to produce events, workshops and collaborative projects.
