Artist Bio

Margarita Athanasiou is an artist and cultural organiser based in Athens. Her practice is text and collage-based, and combines autobiography, history and pop-culture to create multi-layered narratives in the form of publications, prints, video essays, memes and digital images. She holds a degree from Slade School of Fine Art (UCL) and is the founding director of the Athens Art Book Fair.
